# Translate a project

To translate the subtitles, open a project from your list or create a new one. To do this, see the sections [**Open an existing project**](/en/ouverture-dun-projet-existant.md) or [**Create a new project.**](/en/creation-dun-nouveau-projet.md)

Once the chosen project is opened:

1\. Open the tab **Tools / Translate**.

2\. Choose the **Source Language**.

3\. Choose the **Target Language**.

4\. Click on **Translate**.
